This was a dark movie designed to keep the viewer guessing. Sort of a cross between the movie ÒThe GameÓ and the television show ÒTwin PeaksÓ.
I think ÒWild ThingsÓ, like many movies, focused heavily on the looks of the leading female roles (Neve Campbell and Denise Richards). DonÕt get me wrong. I am not above enjoying movies with beautiful women acting in them. But, I think this emphasis reduced the movie's appeal to a larger audience. Like "Coyote Ugly", this movie had more to offer than just the attractive women in it.
Watch this movie closely if you want to fully enjoy it. Although things may not always be as they seem, everything will make sense in the end. |
