This movie was a "Bob Pick", and we (Jill, Doug, and I) haven't let him hear the end of it since.
Mira...say it ain't so! What could you possibly have been thinking? You're a bona fide Hollywood star; you're top shelf. You enjoy the luxury of being able to pick and choose the roles that you want to play. The rest of the actors in this movie HAD to take their roles. First Quentin Tarantino, now this? It makes me seriously question the value of education that Harvard offers.
I guess I really can't relate to living through the scare of a serial killer and the hysteria that it spawns. One thing of which I can relate - all of the characters in this movie were UGLY!! I'm not talking physically ugly; the characters of the characters were ugly.
Sam Berkowitz, the serial killer, apparently received instructions from a neighbor's dog to kill (or something like that.) There's one scene in the movie that depicts this - computer graphics simulate a dog talking. It was so ridiculous that peals of laughter could be heard in the concessions area!! |
