| I must have been living in a cave or raised by wolves. I never (EVER) heard of this movie until my friends raved about how hilariously funny it was. You can only imagine the eager anticipation that consumed me until I could see this movie - the same excitement that children feel on Christmas Eve awaiting Santa's arrival and the presents that he brings. After watching the movie, my worst fears had been confirmed. I WAS raised by wolves who lived in a cave! Sure, there are a precious few comedic moments that forced a smile from a disappointed face (like opening Grandma's Christmas present and realizing that she bought you a bottle of "British Sterling" cologne for the 12th year in a row!), but I honestly couldn't see what my friends were raving about. Alas, I didn't dislike the movie, but I can die with a fulfilled life if I never see it again. |
