I orginally was the only one out of the group of reviewers that wanted to see this movie - as it turns out - I was the last of the bunch to see it!
I have to admit - for not being a George Clooney fan - I'm starting to really enjoy his movies! Each one gets a little better. So far, this is my favorite Clooney pick! And the music! How hilarious can it get! I love the Soggybottom Boys! This movie gives a whole new meaning to Homer's "Oddessey" (which this movie is based off of). When you sit down to watch it - you will catch yourself going "I remember that from the book!" Which, I must admit - I found to be just a little distracting - I was trying to figure out each part - and found myself missing parts of the movie! Oh well - this is definitely one I could see again!
I thoroughly enjoyed John Turturro, and Tim Blake as Clooney's side kicks. John Turturro is such a versatile actor!
I'd love to run through quotes and scenes from the movie - but I can't let this one out of the bag! You have to see this one for yourselves! I guarantee you will love it! You will laugh the whole way through! |
