It's obvious that I have an elevated, highly evolved sense of humor, so you must excuse my confusion about this movie. What's funny about a seemingly normal housewife and mother who snaps and viciously kills for the following reasons:
(1) Not rewinding a videotape
(2) Wearing white shoes after Labor Day
(3) Not wearing a seatbelt
Is there some deeper commentary about life that I'm missing? Senseless murder isn't funny; I don't care how "square" it sounds because I'm disparaging a dark comedy. I just could not appreciate anything about it. There aren't many times that I resent wasting my time and money, but this was definitely one of those times. |
