There are a few unexpected surprises, but the plot just never held me captive. It's not a particularly bad movie, but there's nothing particularly special about it either. I need to feel drawn into a movie to really enjoy and praise it, but for its entire length, I only felt that I was observing it from the outside looking in - like I was there to watch a movie.
One action sequence that was saturated with provolone didn't help things a lot.
My strongest advice: Only see it when it's free on TV and isn't competing with something that you'd rather see. I guess I can recommend spending time watching it if you have a premium cable channel subscription. Just don't expect an E-Ticket Ride, and you might be pleasantly surprised. Otherwise, I think there will always be much better movies to rent or watch on pay-per-view. |
