This movie was based on the 70s TV show of the same title. I was pretty young, but based on the re-runs and my memory, I think they did a cool job of adapting the concept.
The girls did a great job of playing the care-free secret agents. Yeah, there is no hiding the fact that this film relies heavily on the use of sexual imagery. That is how the TV show was as well. I felt they went a little overboard in this area.
When the girls weren't doing martial arts in their evening gowns, they built up character well and you quickly liked them.
Action lovers will love the fight scenes. They make great use of some of the new film technology to make some spectacular motion takes. The cinematography and choreography were quite well-mixed.
The plot was kind of outrageous, but you shouldn't expect much depth. They at least threw a cool little twist in at the end to keep you guessing.
A cool concept and some cool stars made this movie work fairly well. |
