My Review:

I have imagined what my role would be if there was a nuclear war.  – NO, this movie has nothing to do with nuclear war, and YES, I will quickly get to my point. - (One of my best friends told me that my reviews tend to be too wordy.) I think I am an intelligent person.  I have a decent IQ, a college degree, and a good job.  But, what could I really offer to the world in a rebuilding society?  My guess is very little.  I feel like it would be very easy for the world to turn back into the type of place you see in movies like “The Postman” (I have not written a review for “The Postman” but I would give it a 9).  You don’t even need to picture a war.  Just sit back someday, and think of all the amazing things we have on this planet.  Then, think how many of them you really understand.  Most likely, it is not that many.  Personally, I am astonished by all of our modern improvements, especially technology.  And, I am even more amazed that there are people intelligent enough to understand them.  (OK, I lied. It was not that quick.)

“Antitrust” is a story about a software company working on technology that will link all the world's communication devices together, and a few of the mensas that make it possible.  Knowing the rate at which technology is advancing makes this movie seem less like a fiction, and more like a reality waiting to happen – hopefully though a different path.  The concept was interesting, and the plot was filled with energy.  However, even being clueless about computer programming, I could still tell that the story got carried away at times.  (maybe the flaws were caused by writers that were not intelligent enough to fully understand the material.)  It is possible that all the techno geeks who watch this movie will be cringing in their seats from the inaccuracies.  But luckily, most of us aren’t that computer savvy.

If you watch with an open mind, you should enjoy it.  And, I suspect your overall rating will be very near mine.
