The confusion begins as the opening credits roll. You won't know where you're going to end up until ... well ... the end, but you won't be exactly sure how you even got there once you've gotten there.
The film's editing is intricate and engaging-sometimes funny, sometimes brutal, but always ironic in the dramatic sense if viewed in the Bizarro World. You'll want (and need) to see it twice (at least). The first viewing will confound and astound, but you'll stumble across the predominant themes. With each subsequent viewing, however, you'll capture additional minutiae that will only increase your appreciation of this little-known masterwork. |
