I have to say that this was the first time I ever got a headache from watching a GOOD movie. Even "The Blair Witch Project" with all the camera jumping and bouncing did nothing to me. ÒThe ScoreÓ did such a great job of building the tension and anticipation that I was constantly trying to relax. But, in the end, I was unsuccessful and it took two asprin to accomplish the task.
The movie was very well made, with great attention paid to the details. My fellow reviewers seemed to think that the pace was a little slow at times, but I thought the movement was perfect for developing the storyline. I liked the acting of all the characters, and I thought jazz was a great choice for the background music. It gave you a sense that all was cool and everything was going to work out alright, but my nerves were telling me different.
Basically, ÒThe ScoreÓ was a fabulous action movie. ItÕs the movie ÒMission ImpossibleÓ wanted to be. If you are an action movie fan, itÕs a canÕt miss. And, if your just a fan of good movies, I think itÕs still pretty close to a sure thing. |
