Was this movie intended to be crime comedy or just another love story? I really could not tell. Bandits held a lot more potential than it delivered. The cast was well put together, but the storyline was not. During the movie, I thought for sure we were working on a three hour movie. The story seemed to drag on and on and on, yet when it was over, I realized it was mere two hours in length.
Although Bandits was a mediocre movie, it fell short of my expectations. Nowadays, two hours seems to be commonplace for a movie’s running time. However, I am certain that a snip here and there could have made it more enjoyable. |
