I saw this movie about a week after seeing Ocean's Eleven. It must be thief movie week for me! This was yet another twist on the bad guy doing one last job before retiring. This time it was Robert DeNiro who played the bad guy that took the biggest risk of his ÒcareerÓ with a young partner played by Ed Norton. The two had good chemistry which made this movie interesting and exciting.
The plot was not very new, but I think it was successful. Mainly, because there were quite a few scenes filled with suspense and tension. I also thought Norton did a great job in his undercover janitor role. The big heist in the end wasnÕt as cool as the one in Ocean's Eleven, but it was definitely cool to see all of the details they thought of.
The only trouble I had came at the end. I found it hard to believe that NortonÕs character who planned so well would not be ready for what happens. It wasnÕt a big deal and I donÕt want to give anything away, so watch the movie and see if you agree! |
