| If you read my review for "Loser", you'd see this was part of the double-feature rental nite with friends. Whoo-boy, not a fun movie! I've been pushing our group to watch this movie because the trailer looked so funny (sort of like "Clerks", but set in a used-vinyl store and with better production). Was I ever wrong, and did I ever hear about it (thanks guys!)! The vast majority of this painful movie was spent listening to John Cusack (the lead character) whining about his failed relationships, miserable life, etc. Hated to see this happen to John, because I usually love his movies, but this was pretty awful. If you've seen the trailer, you've seen all the funny parts, best to just leave it at that. Rent "Grosse Point Blank" AND "Being John Malkovich" instead. |
