The best way to summarize ÒKiss of the DragonÓ is to say that it is a very (very) typical martial arts film. You have your damsel in distress and the powerful kung-fu master that can save the day. There will be one-on-one fights that look like they could go either way, but in the end the good guy always wins. And, my personal favorite, the one-on-twenty battles where only one is left standing Ð and I bet you can guess who it is.
If you enjoy this type of movie, then ÒKiss of the DragonÓ is worth the rental fee. The night I watched it, it was exactly what I was looking for. I was in the mood for a little butt kicking with a dash of plot, so I got what I wanted and went away satisfied. |
