I will never understand why people think this movie is funny, and I even have friends (although not really intelligent friends) that love it. For me, this movie was absolutely painful to watch. If I would have watched it alone, there is no chance that I would have made it 'til the end. Other than the "Franks and Beans" skit, I don't think I as much as smiled during the entire movie. To top it off, Matt Dillon's portrayal of Pat Healy very well may be my least favorite movie character of all time.
I am not sure if you should take my word on this one because so many people love this movie. But, I need to put this movie back deep in my subconscious as soon as I finish this review and try to forget I ever saw it.
