I submit that "Ocean's Eleven" has enough broad-based appeal that you could see it again and again without ever getting tired of it. The scripted dialogue is both witty and snappy, and watching the plans to rob three Las Vegas casinos unfold is a joy to behold.
George Clooney (Danny Ocean) is as charming as any gentleman thief can be. Brad Pitt (Rusty Ryan), once again, proves my point that he is at his best when he doesn't have to carry a movie as the lead actor. For the brief moments that Julia Roberts (Tess Ocean) is on-screen, she shines brightly. Andy Garcia (Terry Benedict) perfectly portrays the controlling, in-control owner of Bellagio. The rest of the cast performs remarkably well. All in all, one of strongest casts that you will find in any movie. |
