I was really excited to see AI. Based on the trailer, I thought this was going to be a great story. I was surprised to find out that it was mostly a Sci-Fi film.
The plot was a good one, but I felt the story wandered a bit and seemed drawn out at times. There were definitely areas where I thought there should have been more detail given as well.
The end sank this one for me. Surely there could have been a better way to end this movie. It reminded me of the End of the movie ÒContactÓ. IÕll stop there to avoid given anything away.
IÕll rate this one Ògenerally watchableÓ, but not something that will stick in my mind as great. If you want a good movie that ponders the human robot concept, watch ÒBicentennial ManÓ instead. |
