If youÕre looking for a fun movie for your 14-year-old, this might be the one. I enjoyed the movie for the most part, but found quickly that it was not meant to be closely analyzed for detail. The watch in the movie would speed up your molecules so that youÕd be moving faster than the world around you making it seem like time would stop. I suppose they figured they could get away with more since it was a kids movie. A lot of little inconsistencies added up to a weak story for me.
The acting was par for movies targeting that age group, nothing spectacular. In fact, nothing really stood out in this movie, which is why I am giving it a 5. All of the action involved paint ball guns and bicycles. Maybe I would have been more interested if I were 15 years younger. |
