| In yet another attempt to avoid the "Big Box Office" movies of the day, I joined some fellow reviewers to see "Kissing Jessica Stein" recently. Well, other than a few genuine laughs, I found it a little overdone and self-serving. The characters were not all that interesting (too neurotic at times), and the way the plot came together at the end felt a little sitcom-ish in my opinion. However, the acting was good, and when you did laugh, it was hard. I don't know…I don't get "Will and Grace" either. Maybe it's me? At any rate, I suppose if you like Woody Allen, you'll like this movie. Maybe? |
