ÒSpider-manÓ was made in such a way that itÕll take you back to your childhood days when you first gathered around the TV to watch. It accomplishes this through a very ÒcartoonishÓ filming style - reminiscent of the original series. Yet, something felt like it was missing. The story just seemed to lack any real Òzing.Ó A lot of movie was spent describing the tale of how Peter Parker became a superhero Ð from the spider bite, through his transformation, until he finally understands and accepts his abilities. Although it was well done and necessary to fully understand the goings on, it came across a little dull.
This Spider-man story may be just a merely average movie, but, with all of the necessary background information out of the way, it laid the groundwork for what will undoubtedly be more exciting sequels to come. |
