I had a fear going in to this movie that it would be hard to make a whole movie about being trapped in a secret room. Looking back, I think I was right. This story lacked any pop and generally failed in the suspense area. There were some exciting moments, but I think you could find better if you looked around a little.
The men who break in to the brownstone were not well developed and as a result not very believable. In fact, none of the characters really warranted any emotion from me as I watched.
The story has lots of useless violence and bad language which is yet another reason I found it lacking.
Most annoying was the ending. I felt like things were left awkward and unsaid. All of these things add up to a movie that I didnÕt much like. If you have to watch it, try not to pay for a ticket Š IÕm afraid itÕs just not worth $7. |
