| A romantic comedy? By who's definition? I ask you, what is romantic or comedic about two vulgar, horny, pot-smoking, beer-swilling teen boychilds engaging in a sex triangle (and I do mean that in the most completeness of terms!) with the latest version of "Mrs. Robinson?" Since this movie is subtitled into English, could the romance and comedy, somehow, have been lost in the translation? I must admit that I'm not too familiar with the Spanish language. I guess that it could be conceivable, within the proper context, that the Spanish word for "f*ck" can be romantic or comedic. If this were the case, there would have been at least one hundred (and I'm not exagerrating!) laughs or loving words. |
