Based on the book by the same name, this movie is packed with intricate details and amazing action.
I'll admit, the story has the potential to lose some people, but the fact that I had to pay close attention to the story made me enjoy it even more.
The acting in this film was excellent. I felt very involved in the emotion of the characters. The references to a terrorist attack on America also had me thinking back to the events of September 11th - be preparred.
Finally, the filmwork and special effects were very well done. I thought they did a convincing job of showing what a nuclear aftermath might be like. If you're like me, you'll be on the edge of your seat for much of this movie - especially at the end. I might even see this one again! |
