This is an independent film that is both thought-provoking as well as emotional. Although the topic revolves around converations of happiness, it is a very dark and depressing film.
Jill Sprecher's film captures all sorts of emotions - as well as the acting abilities of Matthew McConaughey, John Turturro and Alan Arkin, to name a few.
Just a note of trivia - Michael Stipe (of R.E.M. fame - is an Executive Producer of this film).
If you get the opportunity to see this movie - I would highly recommend it. I would assume that if it is available in our small market - it should be available in yours. |
