That's how the movie goes. With a few (many) expletives thrown in for emphasis. At first, one of my movie companions was begging for subtitles, but he eventually caught on.
Emimen did a good job, but I'm not sure how much of a stretch the role was for him. I've heard cries that he should be nominated for an Oscar, but that would be about as silly as nominating Courtney Love for her role in "The People vs. Larry Flint." Oh wait, she did get the nod for that one.
If you hate rap, you'll hate this. It moved a little slower that I would have liked, and didn't span as much time as I was hoping for, but it was still enjoyable. Move over Will Smith. The new rapping actor has arrived. |
