My tag line is one of my favorite quotes from the movie. Probably because it comes from one of my least favorite actors, Charlton Heston. He plays an important role in this movie -being the president of the NRA.
This film comes from the intriguing mind of Michael Moore, who brought us other great documentaries, such as Roger and Me. But this film, by far, is his best work. It details the gun issue in America and compares it to other countries. It's amazing the information that you find out!
The title, albeit a little strange, is appropriate. Where much of the focus of the film surrounds the tragedy at Columbine High School, you find out that the two boys who went on the killing spree, went bowling just hours before.
Ok, IÕm now rambling on and on about this - but I would highly recommend anyone who has even a twinge of interest in our society. Because, as much as Michael Moore tries to delve into the reasons why Americans love to kill with guns, we never really find out the answer. Not exactly a Christmas movie -but a must-see! |
