I think I've had my fill of movies based on comic books. They're all starting to blend together. All the characters seem to have superhuman qualities, and the bio-hazard symbol always makes an appearance.
Because Ben Affleck doesn't feel like a superhero to me, my reasons for going were much like many of the other men in the theatre. I wanted to see Alias star, Jennifer Garner, on the big screen. Unfortunately, her character was a little less enjoyable than Sydney and her role was far smaller than I'm use to seeing. However, she's always enjoyable to watch and I hope she gets a shot at something a little less violent so I can see if she has true acting abilities.
I'm bordering on a 5/6 rating. The effects were nothing you need to see in a grand scale, so just wait for video. (From the size of the crowd, I don't think you will have much of a choice anyway.) Since it's Jennifer, I guess I'll go with a 6. |
