| Although based on Washington Irving's classic tale "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", this movie mixes mystery, intrigue, romance, and the supernatural against the backdrop of creepy, Sleepy Hollow. Tim Burton continues his unique and fresh vision for making horror films. His tongue-in-cheek approach to maiming and slashing somehow makes the carnage acceptable, nay, enjoyable. I think that it's worth seeing once. |
