| This movie is hard for me to rate. After all, I loved the animation, the action, the effects and Will Smith, but it was riddled with cliche scenarios and bad lines. The whole robot rebellion thing hasn't been done for a while, and probably never this well. For that, I have to lean toward a more significant rating. Overall I came out thinking I really enjoyed this movie, but I also felt like I had seen it before. Bottom line is that if you want to see some amazing robot fight scenes, great action, and a car chase sequence reminiscient of Will Smith's performance in Independance Day then check this one out for sure! Be prepared, however, that some things may seem a bit too familiar. |
